The current administration wants to open the door to oil exploration virtually anywhere the oil companies think there might be reserves. Opponents point out that giving an addict more drugs in not the way to cure an addiction (remember, it was President Bush who proclaimed we were addicted to oil). Is there a political candidate with enough courage to propose a tough, new energy policy and can they be elected? | |
