	from Mike Moffatt Will oil prices cease going up? You would think as a Pigou Club member I would be happy about this, but I'm not for two reasons. First the higher prices do not allow us to have a revenue-neutral cut in corporate tax rates that we could achieve through a gas tax. Second higher oil prices push up the Canadian dollar - which is bad if you live in Canada but are paid in U.S. dollars, like me!

My Experiment in Economic Incentives Begins Today That is, my $1200 Weight-Loss Gamble. I need to lose one percentage-point of body fat% (BF%) between the first week in March and the first week in April, or I will be forced to pay $300. For the first week in March my average body fat % was 20.79% so I need to be at less than 19.79% for the first week in April.
