Talk about a disconnect...
For some reason, the guru e-mails I'm getting
these days - yes, I read some of them too - seem
even more out of touch with reality than normal.
Have you noticed it too?
From reading them, you'd never guess that
some parts of the world are in a recession...
the financial system appears to be teetering
on collapse...and a lot of people are really
struggling.
Yet on they go, blathering about quick
riches and the "Internet lifestyle."
Granted, the change has been pretty quick.
Doesn't it seem like just yesterday when anyone
could walk into a real estate office - no down payment,
no income verification, no nothing - and walk
out with the deed to new home?
Euphoria has turned to caution...if not downright
worry and even fear.
Speaking of which, can you imagine anyone
leaving a great career and high paying job
with a top company to voluntarily become an
Internet marketing "newbie?"
Yet that's exactly what Kristie McDonald did.
Why would anyone do that?
Well, Kristie had a good head start.
Instead of getting caught on the
"guru merry-go-round," the very first
