Free credit scores are hard to come by, especially from any of the big three credit bureaus - Equifax, Experian, and TranUnion. Thanks to a credit law violation, millions of consumers will soon have access to free credit reports and scores from TransUnion.

Apparently, TransUnion is settling a lawsuit by offering several months of free credit monitoring. You'll be able to find out if you're eligible on June 16.
