Sports Leader: Request for contributions

The Mail & Guardian Online is about to launch an exciting new sports blog called Sports Leader. So far we have confirmed John Allan, CEO of the South African Rugby legends Association, Edries Burton, COO for Santos Football Club and Gavin Hunt, coach of Supersport United, the 2008 PSL winners and several more luminaries will be joining shortly.

In recognition of the immense value that fans and armchair commentators provide to sports, the M&G would like to invite contributions from our readers who are knowledgeable about sport in South Africa and abroad. If you would like to be considered for selection, please email the following to us:
  • A good example of your writing
  • The sport you would like to contribute about
  • A single paragraph biography emphasising your qualifications as a contributor and
  • A digital photo of yourself
