In China, it's 8 where it stands for wealth
and riches.
The number 8 is so popular that in China
you can pay hundreds, even thousands,
of dollars for a phone number with multiple
8's in it.
The phone number 8888-8888 recently sold
for $270,723.00. Not too shabby.
All of which must make today, 8-08-08, one heck of
a lucky day.
Personally, I believe in luck...
