It's hard to believe, but Ken Giddens
passed away three years ago.
Ken was one of the real pioneers
of Internet marketing:
* He wrote the online tutorials for Netscape
when there were fewer other sources of info
on how to create web pages and set up
web servers;
* He was one of the first commercial web designers;
* He was one of the first guys to master the
art of using search engine marketing to sell
physical products
And in the last years of his life, he was a great
educator.
He started informally.
Whenever Ken was at a seminar there
were always two seminars...whatever
was going on on stage and the real
seminar that Ken was giving in the hallway.
In 2004, the System Seminar was the
first Internet marketing seminar to offer
Ken a *formal* slot to make a presentation.
He knocked us all out.
Here are three clips from that talk that
show what a unique and insightful
teacher he was. He was also funny
as hell.
Those of us who were lucky enough to know
Ken miss him a lot...
Three gems - and it's just the tip of the
tip of the iceberg:
